Please, PLEASE, reconsider turning him forward-facing so early!! The current AAP standard is to rear-face until the rear-facing weight-limit of the seat (generally 33-35 lb.--he's not there already is he?!).
Here's a video that shows what happens to a baby in a car-accident when forward-facing. It can separate the head from the spine, severing the spinal cord and causing paralysis or death.
