This weekend Grandma and Grandpa came to visit. We went to the local grocery store's Trick or Treat on Saturday. Sunday night, our block had a party and the fire truck came. Ben took a look around. Yesterday, Ben and his friend, Kathryn, met at the park to swing.
Ben and I have a ritual whereby he comes upstairs with me to change clothes when I come home from work. I've made a habit of throwing my socks at him after I take them off, which he enjoys to no end. Many times, when he sees me taking off socks (whether it's after work or just some random time), he closes his eyes, leans in, and starts to giggle.
Last Friday, Ben went to his first "Sing and Sign" program at the local metropark with two friends. He enjoyed the singing and the motions (and the bells!). After the class we went to Scarecrow Row. This picture makes it look like he's patting the scarecrow. In reality, he's slightly pushing away from it.
We are Phil and Mackensie Wittmer, and we created this blog to keep friends, family, and internet stalkers updated throughout the labor and delivery process for our son back in 2007. Then, we just never got around to quitting. We're about to have our second child, so we may as well keep it up, right?
